Our approach is to set a new standard for volleyball development in the UK.
We do this by connecting the areas that are too often treated separately: youth participation, school engagement, university volleyball, community access, coach development, player welfare, women’s leadership, league competition and long-term performance.
Everything we build has to serve the wider game.
That is why 4NVL is focused on more than matchday. We are building safeguarding processes, coach expectations, attendance systems, partner materials, leadership pathways and development programmes that allow the league to grow on strong foundations.

Our mission is to raise the standard of volleyball across the UK by building a league and development platform that connects the whole game.
4NVL exists to create stronger pathways, better development environments, more meaningful competition and wider opportunities for players, coaches, schools, universities, clubs, communities and partners.
We are not building a league in isolation. We are building the structure around it — from Next Gen youth development and leadership programmes to coach standards, athlete welfare, community engagement and future professional competition.
Volleyball in the UK has the potential to be bigger, more visible and more respected. Our mission is to help create the environment that allows that to happen.
